LG 37" LCD tv - noisy?

A friend of mine is looking at various models of LG 37" LCD tv's. She has no real desire for high tech stuff - just wants a nicely sized tv that mounts on the wall.

I have a 2005 model Sharp LCD Aquos, and if I'd known how noisy the fan was I wouldn't have bought it (it has an external box for all the hookups - apparantly they don't do that any more - that was the one thing I really liked!).

I'd hate to see her end up with a similarly loud tv. To make matters worse, a year or so ago I took home an LG hard disk recorder, the thing sounded like a leaf blower! I rarely return products, but I immediately unplugged this thing and took it right back to the store - no more noise in the living room!

So, does anyone have any experience with LG's esp related to fan noise? Are there 37" LCD's out there that are 100% silent - perhaps even with no fan at all? I searched the web for hours, nobody rates these things with respect to noise!!!
