Remote Code for Motorola STB

With Verizon Fios, I got a Motorola HD/DVR STB with number QIP1664-2 on the front panel.

I was setting up the remote for my new Rotel RSX-1057 yesterday. There was only one code available under CTV for brand Motorola. That didn't work the box. I was wondering if there is any way to find if there is some other code that might work or whether I'll have to set it up via learning mode. Anyone have any ideas where to look?

On the subject, is there any universal place to look for remote codes? It's a royal pain to have to try 12 different codes for one brand of devices. Anyone know, is the list of codes universal? so, if you entered code such as 0661 on one remote, it would be the same for any other remote?

It will be cool if there where a web site with a huge cross reference by brand and model.
