Home Video Asylum

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

Your interest is understandable, but in my view it is premature... So what?

This forum has not been about DVD-A for several months. It has been about KEKL. Actually discussing ANY new technology is a welcome break. I don't know what the implications of Blu-Ray/HD-DVD technology are for high quality audio, except for the fact that both formats are capable of being used for Hi rez sound. That fact is of great interest to me and I am sure that it is of interest to many others as well. Why not use the DVD-A forum for this discussion? The fact that we do says nothing about the future of DVD-A pro or con and audio is generally not discussed in any video forum.

Everyone agrees that, except for flame wars between the KEKL and everyone else, this forum is pretty slow. So why not open it up for other topics relating to DVD format and audio that have wide interest? Isn't that what this website is all about?
