native resolution

The VInc D1 and D2 players, as well as the Momitsu players, scale to just about any resolution you would need (1024x768, 1366x768, etc) by use of the Sigma Designs 8500 series chips. However, these players are retired.

But at 10ft minimum from a 42" display, I doubt upscaling would make a worthwhile difference.
