Thanks for your reply. I don't think the cables are too heavy. Comcast actually supplied them with the unit. I think the component video #2 input is more consistent. The #1 component input is giving me more trouble. Do you think I could get a plug-in board from Hitachi to fix the problem? Maybe it's a bad component on the input board?
