Also, nearly as important as the screen is a decent DVD player. I have a 55” plasma that can do 1080i (not 1080p) and with my top-of-the-line pioneer (216MHz chip) most DVD’s look brilliant. However, when I hook up a DVD player with a 54MHz chip the picture is only “ok”. I am thinking of getting the new Denon DVD 3930 as my next purchase for my HT rig. I do have my eye on a 65” 1080p plasma but I feel it won’t be too long before the price drops substantially on it.
