Just received today (Monday) my Toshiba HD-XA1, a refurbed unit that was only $394 delivered to me.
Watched John Frankenheimer's 'Grand Prix' for the 1st time ever tonite and my 1st HD DVD. WAHOOOO! Best TV I've ever seen! And it'll look still better when and if I get a 1080p player! Yes I know I'm gushing, but I'm THRILLED!
I'm surprised it arrived with an HDMI cable, which I'm using (have ordered an Audioquest HDMI-1 2M cable). I'm using the 6-channel analog outputs into my c-j MET1 using 24" ICs made from the bunch of MAS Gray I have.
I'm also surprised the player has no interchannel-level adjustments. Oh well...the MET1 does.
