Amazon lists the HD-A35 for $250

...that's a very deep discount for a player which was introduced just before the holidays at ~$500. Apparently, there have never been firmware updates for it, and the last update for the other models occurred 2 months ago. Probably a good time to buy if you've already got a substantial HD DVD collection or anticipate buying a lot for pennies on the dollar.
