For those with a Panasonic BD30, the LFE issue will be fixed with a firmware update. After the firmware is installed, the fix is transparent to the user (nothing else need be done). This also means that the upcoming BD50 will not have the LFE issue. Besides the LFE update, a few other (mostly non-) issues have been addressed as well.

That's the difference between a company which is responsive to its customer base and a shit one.
