The 500's not perfect--is won't decode Dolby TrueHD tracks--but it allows me to play ALL my hi-def discs, and it gives me very-high-quality video and audio.

I'm quite happy.

It's big-bully Sony I no longer touch with that proverbial 10-foot pole; Sony screwed me once too often.
