Samsung builds shitty products and their service is even shittier (you did ask). But if that's what you want, this info should save you some money. Above is the current price for the model you're interested in at Plasma Concepts (purchased my plasma from them, excellent company and support, AVS Forum sponser and highly recommended).

Any reason you're not considering a plasma? If space is your limitation, they also carry Panasonic plasmas in the 46" size. Right now they have a (consumer model) 1920x1080p TH-46PZ85U for $1982 + free shipping. If space isn't a limitation, you should be able to get a larger screen (the consumer model 1920x1080p TH-50PZ85U is $2299 + free shipping) for less than you'd spend at Best Buy.

As for a Blu-ray player, here are two that I recommend: the PS3 ($399) and the upcoming Panasonic BD50 ($599, May/June).
