I am going to give the Monster I already have a try. From what I understand from reading the Blue Jeans Cable site, the 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 is just the TESTING requirement, but the actual cable is identical as far as number of conductors.

So, just because mine wasn't tested at the higher standard dosen't mean it cann't handle it. Besides, I am only using 8' lengths, not 20 or 40'

That Blue Jeans site really spells it out clearly.
