They reduced the price of the 103" to $50k. So...I'll take a guess the 85" is under $25k...much more affordable. Part of the problem (besides $$$) with the 103" one is it weighed in the ballpark of 500lbs (that may have included a stand though).

To get the "full benefit" of 1080p, the eye distance should be no more than about 11' from an 85" screen. 13' is still very much in the center of the optimal 1080p zone though, so you are right this would be a good size for you. For many people, like me, the problem is being able to sit far enough away from a large screen...
