2 ch and 5 ch integration Pging Kal R

See attached thread from months ago. Yes, I am hapless and ignorant, but I need to understand before ordering a receiver.

I had my installer come and get the wires through the wall, etc.
We got to hooking up, and whoops (Kal, you are right), no pre outs!

I had purchased a Denon AVR 1913, excellent sound and so on, but no RCA pre out. So I am exchanging and upgrding to the next one AVR 2213 ci, which does have RCA pre out.

My question is, do I understand the routing?
Denon Zone 2 or pre out >>> Line 1 or 2 input on my Roksan integrated.
Then what? From where does one hook up the Roksan to where on the Denon?
Is it from pre out (2 available) to a similar Line input on the Denon?
