Actually the Chromecast unit works quite well. The problem turned out to be the number of routers in my Apartment building here. The solution was to take the router off of the 'Auto' mode on the router and select a channel where there were very few routers using it. Once I assigned the router to a Fixed Channel, the buffering completely ceased.

The only downfall to the Chromecast is that it can only be operated wirelessly and that is why people have problems. If they had an Ethernet port, it would be a lot easier.
