The Sony has a terrific picture! You can go a little lower in the line and still get a terrific picture from the Sony's. The Bravia line is quite impressive as well. I would take a look at the Bravia line before shelling out the extra dough. You may find them to be all you would want.
The Sharps Aquos line have a light sensor that changes the back light brightness depended on how much light enters the room. I love the feature! I always had a hard time viewing my plasma at certain times during the the day..not the case with the Sharp Aquos..these suckers can really beam if they need too.
That way you'll no worries about covering up the beautiful view.
