Old technology....

I bought a Panasonic projector in 2006 for about $2K that had similar specs, a native 1280x720 resolution. Bulbs were a couple hundred or so. The picture was stunning on a 132" Stewart screen which cost 3x of the projector cost.

A good, new true HD projector can likely be bought for slightly more than that one with a new bulb. All you need is one HDMI input, the BNCs and RGB inputs are a complete waste and just cost more money. With 70" HDTVs at their current prices, projectors aren't worth much and unless you plan on a top notch BIG screen for it in a dark room, it's just not worth it, which isn't to say that it's not incredible at night for a movie.
