Does anyone really care? I'm not coming down on you personally at all so don't take this wrong, but I cannot believe the hype that gets built for such pitiful films.Doug Schneider
You mean like the Tv adds for the 4DVD set of "Pearl Harbor"...talk about useless hype for a piece of total junk! And you're worried about "Attack of the Clones" ? Geezzzzzzzz!
well, that sounds like what my friends say about this audiophile thing. ;)
Well...being someone who knows a thing or two about audio *and* about movies, let your friends know it's not *quite* the same.Attack of the Clones is a horrendous waste of time -- both from a viewer and filmmaker point of view. Lucas' achievement is that he won't get "Worst Film of the Year" for this one. He'll only get "One of the Worst Films of the Year."
Doug Schneider
They are both same. Most audio stuff out there is smoke and mirrors. You can enjoy listening to music on a best buy shelf system just as you can enjoy Star Wars:AOTC.It's all about enjoyment anyways.
well, try explaining why vinyl is good to someone outside the hobby.
What a completely soulless p.o.s., the worst film I've seen this year...and I just saw the Britney Spears' film "Crossroads" on the flight back from Denver.
Whatever we may think of the quality of these films, they do make a heck of a lot of money. We can boycott them as much as we want but unless the money factor is gone, horrible films such as these will continue to get made.I hated TPM and barely made it through AotC (but enjoyed the digital presentation). But will I see the third installment? You bet. Call me crazy. And this coming from a guy who travels around to film festivals (Toronto, Sundance, here I come again!) for the great film content and then dumbs himself down for Star Wars...
