  I thought it was Robin and Marian. In Zardoz they are in the cave at the end and slowly getting old until they are skeletons.

  Other candidates are:

  Outland been years
  Highlander
  Dragonheart

  This guy has made a lot of films and many are really interesting. Zardoz, Cuba, Wrong is Right, Outland, Red October, Name of the Rose, A bridge too Far and more.
