    To me, no genre can specifically be held as the most intellectual, it all comes down to the writing and editing usually... not to downplay directing, acting etc. And I second the endorsement of Pat Garret and Billy the kid. Also "Little Big Man". Excellent in all respects.

      In France, rightly so, the Ford´s and consort are in very high esteem.
