Even with very low expectations (not being able to get a ticket for what I did want to see I went in with my grandson), "Daredevil" dissapoints.Bad acting. Bad casting. Bad CG and FX. Call it idiotic X infinity cubed. The worst translation from COMIC BOOK to screen, yet. And that is saying a lot because most have really reeked!
No, I take that back. "Howard The Duck" was worse. But "Daredevil" ain't much better = and at least "H T D" had Lea Thompson.

... but would NEVER buy a copy of either. It's a one time viewing. How often can one laugh at how bad a film premise is?PS: thanks for the heads-up on the CG sh!t.

It was pretty bad though. It had the same annoying CG that Spider-Man had. When will they realize that CG is only good for portraying things that don't exist, e.g. monsters, aliens, etc. CG is not capable of mimicing human movement yet.Aside from all that though, it was the story that sucked. Completely hackneyed. Elektra and Kingpin were totally unfleshed out. Bullseye was fine. Even ol' Ben did a pretty good job with DD.
I'm looking forward to X-men 2. They did a fine job with the first one.
My vote for the worst comic book movie is Batman 2 (whatever it was called). That sucked out loud!
I think all the BATMAN movies are sub-par but at least the first had Jack Nicholson's bravura performance as The Joker.
... I liked Jim Carey as the Riddler & I am not a big Carey fan. Although, I am enamored with Nicole Kidman which probably biased my opinion. However, since I don't like Val Kilmer, I can't give it much credence.I just wish the Batman series whole "look" wasn't so @#%$*& gay (for lack of a better word for it). IMHO, Batman 2 was a superior comic depiction but camped the characters. The 1st movie had the dark knight pegged when Michael Keaton killed a bad guy in the opening scenes.
