  Thanks to my Wifes memory, we found the movie. The movie is called Gigot. Jackie Gleason is the main charactor.

    same plot line...black and white, picture a little girl smelling a flower smiling up at a ghastly beast...

    Edward scissorhands same thing...only a little less subtle, but stunning and weird visuals.

      Edward was meant for teenie who are learning to fall in love in colored shades of pastell sweets.
      Boris role was utmost poetic.
      With time passing, Frankenstein is an wonderful " trash picture " in the sense of Warhol, but unlike them..it was an poem.
