So I will not speak of it. The film itself is its own best critique. It might possibly be, on the basis of a budget-to-quality ratio, the worst film ever made.Support group to meet here every Friday, so that those of us scarred by the experience might work to overcome our anger and disappointment.
Plus, I want to round up a posse to go and beat the hell out of the Bros. Wachowski. You with me? If they fight as poorly as they write, we should encounter no resistance at all.

I have to agree. My wife and I saw it last night and both found ourselves thinking of other things, particularly during the Big Brawl. Resurrection and Revolutions should have been edited into one movie and also have been edited by someone that knows how to assemble a coherent, meaningful story.
Cheers,Graham
"Blue meters, big watts. This must be Heaven!"
Downside
1. It is almost to the point of disgust (front shot) when Trinity jump off subway train, open her arm to behold Neo.
2. Human emotions and sentiments should be more detailed/vividly depicted; courage and bravery occupied only a few glance shot. Everyone seemed as determined to fight machine, not human by nature. Absence are some deflect characters.
3. Bazooka girl better sacrifice by diving into drill instead of being pinched and punctured by tentacles. Very un-Americanize indeed!
4. Male characters and dialogs are shallow by comparison with the girls. Blame screenplay and casting?
5. my friend sat next felt death of Trinity seemed a convenience to finish off the film, least expected by majority Matrix fans?
6. Little India girl can do more to amend Neo's broken heart, calm Trinity's soul.
Upside
1. Fight scene more direct and logic
2. Oracle's statement is short and direct
3. Trinity's high flying 360 degree front kick re-appear

"The Matrix" was incredibly stupid. It's one of those movies I would never pay money to watch again and have no desire to see the sequels. Let's hope the franchise dies quickly.(Given this past weekends $50.4 million receipts, I guess it will have to have yet another sequel. At least while the cash cow is healthy. Yet another reason to not go to the movies.)

rock. you have better taste there.the first matrix is like clapton playing crossroads. or jim morrison singing love street. it's a one of a kind classic.
i hope the new one is not that bad. i haven't rushed out to see it yet like i did for the second one. just that i was away on vacation i guess. but i want to rent the second one to watch it again at home. not that i'm just interested in action but the highway scene in it: was it the best action scene i've ever seen?
the directors have a taste for flair, you could see it in the opening scene of swordfish. very, very dramatic action. and then the highway scene in the second matrix movie. action was good in the original matrix but it didn't have quite the same flair. i would imagine that this is a variable in the new one.
i'm not an action fan without a good movie. xxx was one of the worst movies i have seen and i'm completely sick of the current hollywood action movie scene.
the first one is likely to be the best: it had the original idea, and the rest realy are sequels. not as good i am sure. but still...i kind of want the matrix to go on too.

since I saw the second one this summmer. It was a big disappointment, but my expectations were high. No so for the third installment, so the $6 won't be a total waste. They seem to have dropped the ball big time. I'll probably buy the 3 disc DVD Director's Cut set when it comes out, but I'm not buying these two now.
The second reminds me of the third " Stars War " with all this puppet dancing around, the first was well made and did pretend to have some philosophical background, but it was just a bluff...It was just another word & picture for confusion.

What the hell? The movie theater I go to cost like $13 a person. $11 for matinee (in West L.A.)I will still have to see the Matrix 3 (how can you not?)
as well as Lord of the Rings 3 and Kill Bill part II.

that Kill Bill Volume 2 and the LOTR pt 3 will not suck ass. Naturally.I was surprised by Kill Bill. When I first heard about it, I thought it was a shame that Tarantino was coming out of his early, de facto retirement to make some irrelevant rehash, but it turned out to be wonderfully entertaining.
LOTR I have some problems with, but it's still well done.
The Matrix Revolutions...well...you'll see.

See my post below; you see one, you're gonna see 'em all. I felt positively blackmailed into seeing this one, but I had to see how they managed to botch the best idea for a Hollywood blockbuster anybody's ever had.Oh, maaaaan...I just had no idea. You can't even guess.
Meet back here when you're on the other side, because you're gonna need to vent.
