Amazon happened to have the DVD.Wings over Berlin was good, but my favorite Wenders is probably Alice and the Cities.

Follow Ups:
almost "keyboardless," as well.
"Alice" is that most rare of movies: great AND totally original. I don't know how (magic?) interest is kept. Nothing much happens, the pace seems glacial....but I ended up caring about the characters. The shot down the Rhine is a cinematographic beauty.
I have to watch it every year, sometimes a couple of times. "Lost in Translation" leaves the viewer with a similar feeling; I find it strange you'd not at least appreciate it. C'mon, give Murray a chance.

Well, I did give Murray his chance... all thirty minutes of it.But I suspect the second viewing WILL happen. I am sure my wife will want to take a look when it makes it to free channels. However I can pretty much predict her reaction.
There's just too much of that cute little girl still in Sofia. That style might resonate well with some - and it does, but she is not at the master level yet, and may never make it.
She is not Liv.

I've seen snippets of "The Horse Whisperer" whilst surfing, and she gives an exceptional performance; she must have been very young. She was also delightful in "Ghosts."
Certainly, the best young actress out there.

Scarlett was unnoticeable in the Whisperer - I saw most of the movie... of course my eyes were on Kristin...However, the way Scarlett dressed for Golden Globe indicated severe lack of good taste.
I agree she looks kinda right on the picture with that earing.
I think it is Sofia who made Lost what it was - her style was recognizable and again, too cute to be taken seriously.
For what it's worth, HER dress was fine.

I liked " Till the end of Days " too. Not a great film. Just good.
With " The Man without past " we have a new good film in our collection.
On Sunday I will have the next.
