a bellyfull of good pasta and a nice Barolo. But, alas, I don't buy videos. Fact is, I don't even buy very many cds anymore, preferring to avail myself of the enormous catalogue at the local library (I have access to two separate municipalities' collections because of a territorial dispute).
So, with a clear conscience.---go for it. I promise to reimburse you if you do not like it. There, an ironclad guarantee, you cannot lose...

Have you see " Sullivands Travel " ? ( Veronika under the shower...nice ..)
Or take an old screwball of the 40�s.
Or, hear Schubert lieder....Fremde bin ich gekommen....Fremde bin ich gegangen..or somthing like this..Wunderlich..

  in "Sullivan's Travels" has to be the most miscast guy (Mcrea was even too wooden for Westerns, for godsake). Makes me feel better to see a ridiculous leading man successfully court a babe...makes my fantasy all the more believable (yes, je suis un realiste!).

    Mcrea is half that bad. I won�t discuss his beeing wooden, but I still like him in " Sullivan�s " and even better in " Foreign Correspondant ".

    I thought it was very well done and Ford was exceptionally fitting for his part.
    Just watched The Frisco Kid w/Ford and Wilder.
    What a wonderful feel-good movie! Clever too. I'd forgotten about it.

      I was afraid you would ask. No, we didn't like it. And we gave it its fighting chance - I told Anya that was Dmitry's special, so we watched it in the afternoon, on large screen.
