...LOTR noise track! In the meantime.... I am dry... with nothing to watch.
And I have to warn tin - that I Vitelloni tape I was talking about is in Italian with no subs!
Then maybe I shouldn't warn him, so I could get the other one!

Follow Ups:
a bellyfull of good pasta and a nice Barolo. But, alas, I don't buy videos. Fact is, I don't even buy very many cds anymore, preferring to avail myself of the enormous catalogue at the local library (I have access to two separate municipalities' collections because of a territorial dispute).
So, with a clear conscience.---go for it. I promise to reimburse you if you do not like it. There, an ironclad guarantee, you cannot lose...

Well maybe an film based on " Shakespeare " ? One from Sir Olivier..Or Branaght´s one....
Have you see " Sullivands Travel " ? ( Veronika under the shower...nice ..)
Or take an old screwball of the 40´s.
Or, hear Schubert lieder....Fremde bin ich gekommen....Fremde bin ich gegangen..or somthing like this..Wunderlich..
Petitbon..Still have not my amp back! So only films....

in "Sullivan's Travels" has to be the most miscast guy (Mcrea was even too wooden for Westerns, for godsake). Makes me feel better to see a ridiculous leading man successfully court a babe...makes my fantasy all the more believable (yes, je suis un realiste!).

Mcrea is half that bad. I won´t discuss his beeing wooden, but I still like him in " Sullivan´s " and even better in " Foreign Correspondant ".

Just as well..
How long you think I could keep the goodies unconsumed? Like the proverbial Russian alcoholic with a bottle.BTW - thanks for reminding me, you need one of them back in a hurry - right?
The conversation I have seen before, nice film, even if a bit dated - those plastic raincoats!

No rush.
How did you like the Mosquito Coast?
I thought it was very well done and Ford was exceptionally fitting for his part.Just watched The Frisco Kid w/Ford and Wilder.
What a wonderful feel-good movie! Clever too. I'd forgotten about it.

We will watch a movie a day, if there's something available. Remember - our "kid" is pushing 30, so no diper duties for us - better tin than me!***How did you like the Mosquito Coast?
I was afraid you would ask. No, we didn't like it. And we gave it its fighting chance - I told Anya that was Dmitry's special, so we watched it in the afternoon, on large screen.
No, it didn't go down well at all... sorry. I just can't stand Ford - he always has that moronic expression.

I kinda thought it wouldn't sit well w/you two. But giving it a fighting chance is enough satisfaction for me.
Yes, It was really not good, a departure from his usal kaka is still not good enough for a good film.
I just had a few weeks ago a second go to it.
Everything looked wrong.
It was a pseudo something.

--Yes, It was really not good, a departure from his usal kaka is still not good enough for a good film. Here I am, being non-judgmental and open.
And you put all the efforts na smarku.
