What we are going through here since LOTR win some kind of Disney Mikey Mouse award.
Please come back...Quick!!!
Follow Ups:
Hold the line a little longer, mio caro Patrick, we'll show them!In the meantime, ask Dmitry who Major Pronin is - he eats Captain America for lunch.
When you need him? AuPh is raging......
...he consumed during the Oscars - he is so oblivious of the world outside the LOTR you can take him with your bare hands.Imagine... spending the time he did watching that wretched "movie"? I suspect he took the clue from the Orange - and you know what - it WORKED!
BTW, I prefer the "Blue" (Grande Reserve) rather than Brown or White label; I'm unfamiliar with the "Orange". ;^)
Knock the Academy if you like, but it's STILL the most prestigious of film awards worldwide. [Sheeesh! I'm beginning to understand why your own countrymen exiled you in Germany.] ;^)
You can have your academy all you want - better you than me, pal!As far as being the most prestigious... well, man, you need to learn there's life outside that small Texas town - the whole world, in fact. I would venture to say the several European festivals are far more influential in the arts department than the dreaded academy.
But if all you are looking for is money, then go ahead - you've found your pigeon hole!

I admire your self-indulgent stubborn streak, but it looks like you're sailing into waters off the coast of Egypt again (i.e., de Nile). ;^)

Perhaps, but like most European marble facade you stand rigid and inflexible in defiance of the reality flying over your head; there is a price for that as I'm sure you're well aware! ;^D
He is from Texas.
...he's apparently into the pigeon hole thing! ;^)
