What film had something to offended absolutely every human being? Well, for me, it was "Kingpin". But several years ago it was overwhelmingly surpassed by: "Me, Myself, and Irene"Am I aiming to low? Anybody hiding a really offensive piece of crap out there?

I am not even speaking in a religious way. There was very little story told in the movie, it was a glorification of brutality in any genre. If Reservoir Dogs had consisted of this much brutality and so little plot then it to would be here but it is not. Reservoir Dogs maintained a focus on the storyline, Passion was similar to watching someone get tortured for 2 plus hours with little else said. The worst movie I've ever seen. I felt ripped off.If you want to see Jesus whipped with a razor blade for 45 minutes then this is the film for you. It was almost as if they had so little imagination to fill the required time they just said "lets whip him for another half hour". More time to fill? Forget about imagination lets just whip him another 10 minutes. Mindless. Never mind the ending, huh. What are they trying to leave the door open for a sequel? The maker of Passion, Mel you listening, should be crucified for making people sit through that piece of crap.

I believe this movie was advertised as having something to offend everyone. Personally I thought Kingpin was hysterical and a terrific movie. I haven't seen The Loved One (if I have the right title) but based on acounts by one friend, I think I would very much like it.

Now *that* was offensive--but not for the reasons one might assume. It began as a decent enough lowbrow/satirical comedy, and then self-destructed before one's very eyes into the worst pile of rewritten-for-a-test-audience-of-suburban-mothers doggy-doo I've *ever* seen. The script for the last 30 minutes or so of that soi-disant movie is the absolute worst drivel I've ever encountered on the big screen (and I liked SHOWGIRLS). Vergogna!!
To see this sort of thing done correctly, I refer my fellow inmates to VERY BAD THINGS (also starrring Cameron Diaz). Now there's a film that doesn't wimp out.

I walked out. Later I was at a business lunch with eight people and they all had LOVED it. When I told them I had walked out they all looked at me like I had the plague.
