Now, what made the movie "great" in the action genre was the lead character, as brought to life by Uma. A 3-dimensional, strong, but very attractive woman. And tough. Certainly the equal of any Stallone/Ahnie/Clint character, ever.
That, in itself, is no easy feat.
Name another character as memorable---as interesting and multi-layered--- as "The Bride," this year.
I can't think of one.
