Is a magic film. It goes where Benigni never could go. Played wonderfully by all, and in a very small role Danny Devito is outsanding.
Burton must be in love, as only people in this state of dependance could break this sound barrier.
He deliver what was declicately draw in " Edward ". He is very baroque, more than ever, but this time his vision is a flying carpet.
I do not know if I ever will need to see it again, as the special may vanish at a second visioning, like a magician who you know what will happen in the next second.
If you still have something in you that makes the difference, between the one that have a voice and the one who have and in reality doesn�t need.
This is your film.
Let him make Peter the Pan.

...not to get bludgeoned over the head by the Forrest-Gump-esque sentimentality. The movie took itself too seriously. It was highly entertaining, though.
I do think Tim Burton is generally getting better, and I am sure that his upcoming Charlie and the Chocolate Factory , starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, will be a delicious romp.

  Maybe. We could discuss at lengh the symbolic of the Father & son relationship. But it�s no use.

        Billy Crudup did play the son. Ewan Macgregor played the father character as a young man.
