Do any of you share the same experience? I find that I can watch a good comedy over and over and over again (e.g., Seinfeld, or LA Story by Steve Martin), but seldom do I watch dramas more than once or twice. Wonder why this is....

Follow Ups:
.
I find with TV I'll tend to watch comedies a second time (or maybe even third) more likely than I would a drama. A drama is "touching or gripping" to me only the first time around, a comedy can still be funny a few times over. Example; I really like CSI (the original, can barely take Caruso in Miami) but can only really watch it once. I can watch as you said, Seinfeld, many times.
As for movies, I bought my first DVD player about 6 or 7 years ago. I own maybe 8 or 10 movies total. Once I've seen a movie it's a very rare movie for me to want to watch it again (and if so I'll just rent it for the most part).
Music... another story altogether. My CD's get lots of use.

I find myself watching a good movie over and over regardless of what genre it is. Do you make the same distinction with Shakespeare?

With regards to reading Shakespeare, no. Don't enjoy watching plays so much, however. But Shakespeare is also terribly funny too.

Life brings us not so many happy endings...That may be the main reason some of us prefer to look at the bright side of life...Too bad that the Hollywood dream last only one hour and thirty five minutes...
