The main problem with this CNN review is that they say that Jet Li is a Hong Kong action star, and has been......he's from Beijing, and speaks mandarin, not cantonese. Gotta love the thorough job of some reporters!
Hero starts in our local theatre on Friday.

I believe when it first released, it was known for its political undertone regarding China's (the king?) and countries like Hong Kong (already did) or Taiwan acquiscing to China's government.
I vaguely remember the movie, but if anyone know or care to share, feel free.
