Picked up the Star Wars Trilogy today...

looks like my local rental place got in a few WS and FS sets and cried 'Tuesday be damned'. WS has the silver box w/an embossed quartet of good guys on the front and Darth on the back side and the FS format is in gold. Price was $49.95, which seems to be what Circuit City was asking at presale. Barnes and Noble will be $59.50.
I may watch the specials discs first and report back.
Runtime for IV is 123 min., V is 129 min. and VI is 136 min..

But perhaps that was due to the poor environment and indeterminate equipment (although a nice Panasonic plasma screen was used). Still got my fingers crossed.

I ordered mine for $42 and change from Amazon and they will ship on 9/21. I actually have the 1997 revisisons on LD with Dolby Digital 5.1 but want the DVDs. Is there a DTS option on the DVDs by chance?

  Plus Spanish and French mixes. I read the review by Holly E. Ordway on DVD Talk, who was one of the 50 or 60 journalists choosen a few weeks ago to go to the press opening at an old 'silent theatre' in Hollywood. Seems to be a thoughtful piece.
