Mine arrived yesterday. Last night I watched the documentary and the featurettes and part of Episode IV. The quality of the movie itself is stunning albeit seemingly darker than the laserdisc. The documentary is very well done and includes comments from a huge variety of sources including one Walter Cronkite. Just a bit too many "Lucas is a genius" declarations for me, however. But the many problems and snags in the production of the trilogy is well described. Well worth the $42 I paid at Amazon.

Follow Ups:
I thought being up here they'd do the usual rip-off, but $54Can equates to around $42US. Good deal. Now I have a total of about 10 or so DVD's, I'm almost caught up to you Rico. hehe :)
Funny how some people are renters and some collectors. I bought my first player about 7 years ago maybe (?) ... a Sony DVP3000 I think, yet I never buy DVD's. Actually, including the PC I'm typing at I have four DVD players in the house; one for every two or 3 movies. Hilarious.

Being retired and on a fixed budget most of what I now buy is used or from the flea market. Our local library has a surprisingly good collection as well.

Ours mostly buys wide screen DVDs. They have an extraordinary collection for a town with only 5400 year 'round residents.

My town is 100,000 people year round (200,000 on summer weekends!) I'm going to look online right now...., can't find anything but I'm going to look the next time I'm thereabouts.
