Have you received it yet?
They were showing it again on cable, and again I started to watch and could not stop... it always casts that spell on me.
Some scenes simply engrave into your memory - they are incredible in their poignancy. I only wish the subs were better, as the dialogue there is subtle in several places, and I was watching the subs... oh, well, the usual problem with them.
Funny, as I watched the Master and Commander with the subs on, they were extremely close to the spoken text, extremely... almost 100%. In Dom Durakov the gap was huge most of the time.
I don't know if you will get the same subs, hopefully better ones.
It is a very poetic film.

Oooops I mixed up I am watching " Le Retour " ( The Return ) The House of Fools is coming from UK, still not there but already send...
