about the Irish couple and their 2 daughters who move to America and suffer poverty while looking for the better life? In the film, one of the two girls, who are real life sisters, sings Desperado.
For some reason I just cannot recall the name or the sisters names....any help?
Thank you.

Follow Ups:
I recalled it being IN AMERICA. A very good film BTW.

I read the archives here before watching it a few days ago. I have to agree that cliche situations and outcomes are used. But for me, the story remained riveting and the performances were rewarding from beginning to end. The “Desperado” scene was one of many fine moments.I also watched “To Live”, which is culturally different and similar in struggle. Is this one familiar to you? Both motivated by hope and carried by love.

I'll add it to my NETFLIX list. If you liked In America, the director's other films are all good too.
