For a project out local librarian asked me to compile a list of films involving multiple personalities. I can only think of "Three Faces of Eve", "Sybil", and "Separate Lives". Can anyone think of any others? Thanks for your help. rico

Take a look at "City Lights"...the rich man recognizes and loves Chaplin when he is drunk, but when he is sober he is a completely different man. Also sneak a quick glance at Keaton's "Steamboat Bill, Jr." In addition to the famous tornado sequence, there is a scene in the film where Keaton tries on various hats. With each hat, he becomes a different character. If you know your silent movie stars, you can try to guess which ones he is imitating with which hat!

Rico, the Video Hound guide has a very, very lengthy index section that covers films by, among other things, subject matter. It would certainly have a thorough list of films covering your topic.Brian de Palma has made many films featuring characters having multiple personalities, but they're exploitative, and giving the title "gives away" the ending of those films.

This came out sometime around 2001, I think, and deals with a main character that could be described as having mutiple personalities. Pretty good movie as well.

Madonna in Who's That Girl fits too, I guess.
Both deal with amnesia, but the amnesiacs assume someone else's personality, in these two cases, anyway. Also Richard Pryor's Moving. Dana Carvey plays a man with 5 or 6 personalities.
