I need a few weeks time to digest this film, no it was not complicate or bizarre it was...beautiful and haunting.
This film moves air, air you hear when your eyes are closed in a concert hall, the same quantity and quality, it sound so excellent and so natural, it move a span of three hundreds years in time or so of Russian history, and how it does it!
Filmed in one shot, Hitch´s dream came true thanks video, it is all glamour of past time, it is My Fair Lady and it is the truest visit of a museum one can only drean of.
It is Gustav Mahler´s " Ewig " and also Marcel Proust´s opus. It is the soul of the Russia lone gone who sleept with the France of Guy De Maupassant, it is the self tearing of the very essence, as I understand it, of the soul of Ivan the Bear.
It is nearly perfect in its own right.
It is long gone and will be always be present.
Too bad that only so very few will see it.
Too bad.

Nineteen minutes of pure poetry in motion. The "making of" was just as rewarding as the actual work.
Very exactly
I will check the " making of "

Because most have been poisoned by the mindless and minded profiteur whose gain finally land on a desert island, on another planet they think, " apres moi le deluge ".
It was when I was writing of "ML" that I was referring to the ball scene. Most beautiful.
