I loathe Star Wars and, since in my experience folks like both mythologies, I steered clear. Since my brother-in-law is a true fanatic of both cults, I'll be forced to indulge him and see at least one LOTR. I detest the look.--that Matrix-blue-black-brown crap. And the Tyler girl? Don't get me started...

I actually don't have problem with the first Star War... but it HAD to stop there. One was a curiosity, what followed was a disgrace to everyone.
With the LOTR I am one small step (as in "one small step for man, one giant.... for mankind..." remember?) ahead of you, as I actually sat through about 20 minutes total of that munumental pile of dreck.
