Check him out at imdb.com. Lipton is much older than I originally thought...and he has show biz chops that go back to the 1950's...Broadway, soap operas, musical scores, etc. He was once married to imo a pretty good actress-Nina Foch (MY NAME IS JULIA ROSS).

I agree with your assessment of him, but I like his interviews none-the-less.
