Still debating whether or not to see Terminator 3. Loved the first two and just realized today that I haven't seen the third one. I thought the terminators and the time paradox had been resolved in T2, so I just assumed the third one would have to be based on some hoaky or inconsistant premise(like Highlander 2). I'm open to suggestions. Read some reviews and they really sorta go both ways on this one.

Follow Ups:
Hi NuWave. T3 is a joke. Unbelievably crap plot. Apart from Arnie, none of the original actors would go near it, so they either killed them off or used different actors. The storyline gets worse at it goes along. The ending is dire. The sets look crap (they look like movie sets from bad 1970's Charlton Heston movies). The actors are crap as well. There isn't even any good action or special effects. Barf. It's a pity - I really loved the first two Terminator movies. Cheers. Doug

I'm not saying this movie is great - or even good. But the crane vs. fire engine chase sequence was pretty good action and special effects work. Not good enough to save the movie though. The problems with the movie for me were that the current governor of California was much too old for the part and the guy who played John Connor came across as far too much of a post-feminist "girlie man" to be believed as a future military leader and savior of mankind.
If I remember correctly, Duilawyer loved this movie. He especially enjoyed the part where Arnie was beating up on the girl terminator and sticking her head in a toilet. He is one sick bastard!

I'll see it for the 'girl's head in the toilet scene'. That sounds friggin funny.

T1 was the best for storyline. T2 had great special effects (as did T3). T3 however was just a copy of T2 as far as I was concerned. Yes the effects were great, but the movie really did nothing for me. If you're a T fan you should see it once however.

if what you really wanted to rent is not available.T3 is well made and pretty good but that's about it. It's not a huge letdown but it isn't the jaw-dropping blockbuster T2 was and isn't nearly as good a story as the first film, which I consider the best of the lot.

The first one had the best story, and the second one they added the 'second' terminator that went through the time travel thingy. I guess they forgot to mention him in part 1. If you can get past that minor issue, 2 is packed with eye candy and action! One of the all time great flicks on a couple different levels.('cept for the chase scene with the helicopter and the different bullet hole patterns on the back of the truck from one scene to the next)

Defiitely not as good as the first two, but easily worth a rental. I won't say more as it would truly be the spolier of all time. There are a a few GAPING plot holes that aren't time travel related.

Matrix Revolutions which was completely lost on how to close the books, having taken a wrong turn of sorts on Reloaded.
If you loved T1/T2,this 3rd(final?)installment closes things much better than...Matrix's 3rd act.And just as with Matrix, once the ride starts fun,you have to see the finish line.

I was so repelled by Matrix 2 that I didn't even care how it ends, so I avoided the third part like the plague. Maybe i'll just see it for the terminator chick. Can't beat Robert Patrick in 2 though.

I can't remember a single thing about that movie, except that it was ungodly violent. Oh yeah, the chick terminator was cool, but that's about it.

I liked the humor but that's about it. The story is just a rehash of #II.
