Real Genius, IMHO the best 80's "teen movie." Actually goes into laser theory fairly accuratly. He also gets some of the best one-liners ever.

Heat, not a lot of talking, or screen time, but not bad.

He played Doc Holliday. As I recall Kilmer lost weight to recreate Holliday's rail - thin, consumption - wracked figure. Kilmer played Holliday as a somewhat flamboyant character which is historically accurate according to John Myers Myers' biography.
