of what it was like in those post-Vietnam era days.
The ensemble acting was of a very high, even quality and many of the actors, from Kevin Kline to Glen Close to Wm. Hurt to Tom Berenger went on to successful careers.
Oops, almost forgot the extremely hot Meg (wanna see me stretch my legs?) Tilly.

Prey tell us, what sort of a "successful career" did the "extremely hot Meg" launch after that snoozer? Perhaps you confused her with her sis Jennifer? Then you would have a leg to stand on.Ditto for Kevin Kline, who at best gave Kevin Costner and Harrison Fort stiff competition for being the most wooden stiff in Hollywood, and Glen? Would you consider the Liasons her finest hour? Not much to claim, really.
The only one in the group with a modicum of acting talent was Hurt, and he definitely seemed out of place there.

Tilly has had a less than glorious results in the lifetime achievement category, but she did shine briefly. Glenn, on the other hand has shone brightly for a long time, having received 5 Oscar noms, including one for "Fatal Attraction." She's presently co-starring as a queen bee cop in "The Shield." She'll probably gather in Emmy's for that. That ain't hay.

I agree on Agness, but the statement was about the career. Her simply fizzled quickly.Glen... I don't care now many noms she gets, she is not a good actress. Fatal Attraction is the quintessential Hollywood dreck, and she certainly shined in that... what a dubious distinction.

This is a sympathetic criticism. I wish Tom managed to get better roles, and perhaps open up in them. I don't think I had seen all his roles, but the Sniper is perhaps his best, and in large part due to the action script... but he has good presence.Or... was it a Platoon? I liked him there too. Also mostly the presence role.
