I didn't say I didn't like it - I enjoyed it, but it definitely started losing towards the end. But overall the film deserves good recommendation, there is enough in it to justify that.
And all that cold... brrrrrrr... walking through deep snow in dress shoes... only the Black Robe has more cold in it.

  I really don't know why it doesn't get more attention - like his Breaker Morant, for instance. It is a mesmerizing film.
