  ...'Broken Flowers' simply bored me. There just isn't enough there to interest me. I simply didn't care enough about ANYONE in the movie to make it worth my time. The most-interesting character in it is the neighbor!
  'Lost in Translation' was also boring but at least we got to watch Scarlett Johansson.
  A few 'people' movies I love? 'Sideways', Benny & June', 'Limbo', 'Brassed Off', 'Casablana', 'Deva Vu', for only a sample.
  No more movies with blank-faced Bill Murray for me.

    Frame similar characters, I think Broken Flowers trumps Sideways by a mile....OK not a mile, but still. :)
    I also liked it better than 'Lost...' But I consider Jarmush a master.
    Did you see 'You Me and Everyone We Know'? That is a small miracle.
