I just watched this last night and was going to post. I liked it -- found the voice overs breezy and entertaining. The character arc and feel of the film reminded me of Goodfellas without the comraderie.
The opening "bullet eye" viewpoint was well done.

..coming across like some kind of fable so that when the end hammered home the actual truth, it seemed to hit even harder.
