Thinking about joining one of these on-line DVD rental services. Not that I watch tons of movies each month, but going to the local brick and morter Blocksbuster has become a real drag. Shitty selection, high prices and piss poor customer service. For those of you who do the Netflix or other on-line rental servie - what would you recommend for someone who would probably rent a handful of DVD's over a 30 day period?

...I like to go in on Tues. - look at the new releases for the week and pick a couple to watch over the next 8 or 9 days (you get 9 days on a 2-day rental). In spite of their limited selection and poor customer service. They have a special through August, IIRC - 3 rentals for $9.99.

Netflix has been super for us, but we do live close to their distribution center so turn-around is virtually always next day. No hassles, no spam, just lotsa movies. Definitely check which has a distr ctr closer to you.

2-3 day turnaround time, and only 2 discs in the last year have been unplayable due to damage. (a replacement was sent out the next day).
