  Gone are Wayne, Lancaster, Mitchum, Burton, Bogart, Donlevy, and a whole bunch of others.

  My uncle, Yosh Tomita, played the Asian delinquent in the classroom (he didn't have any lines). He told me that Ford was a real gentleman and treated all the cast and crew with respect.

  Ford volunteered for the Marines in WWII.
  "Blackboard Jungle" and "Experiment in Terror," I think, are his best films.
  No actor portrayed an even-tempered, fair, but tough guy better than he.
