Dunno how I could have forgotten that one-it's a sheer delight that I've seen many, many times, and it never fails to make me want to go out for good Italian food.

Chariots of Fire, I am particularly fond on this one, a pleasure to see, but the English version is the one to go.

It's just sheer comic perfection, and a high level of artistry, too-the B&W cinemotography is beautiful, and John Morris' score is wonderful. Loved the authenticity-they used the laboratory equipment from the original. As for the casting, well-every performance is a comic gem, and all the principals are at the top of their game. Gene Hackman's cameo as the blind man is priceless.I've got a friend I usually see at our annual Christmas party each year-the wives end up rolling their eyes when he and I start quoting endless stretches of dialogue from YF.
