Saw this again for the first time since being a youngster in the back seat of the station wagon at the drive in with mom and dad telling me to cover my eyes. What a good movie this is, and this being edited version being shown on AMC.I'm surprised how young Robert DeNiro looked in 76.
But other than that, I was very captivated by the whole picture.
My short opinion.
Regards,
Vinyleer
Follow Ups:
The depiction of the child prostitute was far too glamorous. Jody Foster comes over as healthy, contented, and in no way appears as if she's being exploited by her pimp. Wouldn't get by these days. Some of her scenes with De Niro apparetly had a good bit of improvisation in them from both parties, and she comes across as far too jolly for a young girl in her situation, imo anyway.
