..I would place the 1991 WS (Atlanta vs Minnesota) as the all-time best. I remember '75 and it was great, but '91 with the pitching of Morris and Blyleven and all the 1-run games was amazing.

that series with the reds and red sox even 'reads' like an all star game. the big red machine gave sparky anderson the easiest job in baseball
agreed that '91 is a rival if not equal to '75. Other classics 2001 three of the last four games were nail biters, 1985, even though game seven was a blowout, six was one for the ages, but that series has been historically overshadowed by '86, a dramatic series but defined largely poor play on both sides. Game 6 of '02 was very memorable as well.
